If it's y = (1/5)x - 5, do it like this.

Since it's a straight line, I'd plot 2 points.

x = 12 - 3y
Pick 2 values for y and find x.
Plot the 2 points.
Draw a line thru them.

If it's 1/(5x - 5), then you'll have to plot more points and draw a curve thru them.
