Question 63541: Solve the system by graphing.
3x – y = 1
3x – y = 2

Answer by praseenakos@yahoo.com(507)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First of all rewrite the equation in terms of x
3x – y = 1

===> Y = 3x -1

3x – y = 2

==> y = 3x -2

Now give arbitrary values to x in both equations and find out corresponding values of y.

Using these values plot the graph.

The the graph comes like this,

Since resulting lines are parellel, these two equations have no solution.
