If you can please include the points that I have to graph/plot that would be great. I know how to get the vertex but I always mess up when it comes to graphing the exact point or points.

Hi,

Using the vertex form of a parabola,  where(h,k) is the vertex

y = -2x^2   V(0,0),  a = -2 < 0, parabola opens downward, y-axis is the axis of symmetry

Pt(1,-2) and Pt(-1,-2) on this Parabola
