Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SLOPE=(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)
(2-[-3])/(-5-[-5])
(2+3)/(-5+5)
5/0 IS AN UNDEFINED SLOPE OR A VERTICLE LINE.
IN THIS CASE THE VERTICLE LINE PASSES THROUGH THE POINT X=-5
