Question 60699: Solve and Graph the equation: y=x+3
Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=X+3 REPRESENTS A LINE WITH A SLOPE OF 1 AND A Y INTERCEPT OF 3 (0,3)
SETTING Y=0 AND SOLVING THIS EQUATION WE GET THE X INTERCEPT THUS
0=X+3
X=-3 OR (-3,0)
NOW WE HAVE TWO POINTS (0,3)(-3,0), A Y INTERCEPT OF 3 & A SLOPE OF 1.
