Question 59546: Solving Linear Inequalities: Can you help me with this? The question is, Solve each simple linear inequality. Graph each solution on the number line provided. Example: 6x + 7 > 11 <------------>. ? How do I solve this problem? Thanks, JT.
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x + 7 > 11
6x>4
x>2/3
Draw a number line.
label a point 2/3
Draw an open circle at that point.
Draw an arrow starting at that open circle
and going to the right along the number line.
That is the graph of the inequality.

Stan H.
