Hi Ashley,
I think you left off a y. Otherwise, without another variable we could not rewrite the equation as a function of x.
I'm adding a y.
Rewrite 2x-3y=-6 as a function of x.
Solve the equation for y:
-2x+2x-3y=-2x-6
-3y=-2x-6


Now y is a function of x. Y depend on what x is.
