First, you are confused about what slope is.
A point like ( 5,2 ) is a point and nothing else.
A slope is a ratio of 2 numbers.
It is ( change in y ) / ( change in x ). Even if it is
a single number like 3, it is still 3/1, and
( change in y ) / ( change in x ) = 3/1
