Question 5884: what does 2x+y=-5 look like on a graph?
Answer by Abbey(339)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It is a line with a slope of -2, which intersects the y axis at the point (0,-5)
I simply put the equation in the format y=mx+b, where the slope is m and the y-intercept is b
y=mx+b
2x+y=-5
subtract 2x from both sides:
y=-2x-5
