Graph y=x and Plot points if neccesary and show points of intersection of thses two graphs.
For y=x
if x=0, then y=0. Plot (0,0)
if x=4, then y=4 Plot (4,4) Since this is a line, connect the points and you have a line.

For
If x=0, then Plot (0,0)
If x=1, then Plot (1,2)
If x=4, then Plot (4,4)
If x=9, then Plot (9,6)
Notice that they share the points (0,0) and (4,4). I picked those points on purpose because I found their points of intersections algebraically this way:

x=0 and x-4=0
x=0 and x=4
Don't worry about that if you haven't gotten that far yet.
Here's the graphs together, you can see their points of intersection is (0,0) and (4,4):
