Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2X+Y=6
Y=-2X+6
THIS IS A LINE WITH A SLOPE OF -2 & A Y INTERCEPT OF (0,6)
THE X INTERCEPT CAN BE FOUND BY SETTING Y=0 THUS:
0=-2X+6
-2X=-6
X=-6/-2
X=3 OR THE POINT (3,0) NOW DRAW A LINE THROUGH THESE 2 POINTS (3,0)&(0,6) WITH A SLOPE OF -2
