Question 562478: solve the compound inequality.
4>-3x+3 or 8(greater than or = to)-3x+4
answers available are:
(-infinity, -4/3] or (-1/3, infinity)
(-infinity, -4/3]
(-1/3, infinity)
(-infinity, infinity)
I chose the 1st one, but am not sure, need verification please! :)

I worked it out and got [-4/3, infinity) so I'm not sure about the problem being written correctly.
Well, we can check that x=-2 does not satisfy either inequality, so this means that choices 1,2, and 4, whose intervals contain -2, are incorrect. Also, x=-1 does satisfy the second inequality so it must be included in the interval, so this means that choice 3 is incorrect as well.
