Question 551620: Find the slope of the line that contains(5,-10) and(-1,-5)
Answer by Maths68(1474) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the slope of the line passing through the points (5,-10) and (-1,-5).
Put the values of above points in the equation of straight line point-slope form
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
m=(-5-(-10))/(-1-5)
m=(-5+10)/(-6)
m=5/-6
m=-5/6
Slope of the line = m = -5/6
