2y = 18
y = 9
-3x +4y = 12
4y = 3x +12
y = (3/4)x + 3
make a table
x,y
-1,?
1,?
etc.., ?
substitute the x into the formula:
y = 3/4 * 4 + 3
y = 6
plot (4,6)
select another point for x from table and repeat.
