10x+12y=8

So far I have multiplied -2 to the first equation to eliminate the x and find a value for y. Like this : 18y=12
18y/18=12/18
y=2/3 So would the first point be (-2, 2/3) ? or (-2, .66) where do i go from here?

-10x -12y = -8
10x + 12y = 8

0 = 0

The problem is the 2nd eqn is 2x the first.
--> dependent, no unique solution.
In effect, 1 eqn with 2 unknowns.
