y=(x^2)-4)/2x^4}
To get the y-intercept let x=0.
But that gives you zero in the denominator.
So, there are no y-intercepts.
----------
To get the x-intercept, let y=0
Y can be zero only if the numerator of the fraction is zero.
Solve x^2-4=0
x=2 or x=-2
The x-intercepts are x=2 and x=-2
