You can put this solution on YOUR website! 6 x -3 y = 75 .............1
5 x + 7 y = 23 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 7
Multiply (2) by 3
42 x -21 y = 525
15 x 21 y = 69
Add the two equations
57 x = 594
/ 57
x = 10.42 OR 198/19
plug value of x in (1)
6 x + -3 y = 75
62.53 + -3 y = 75
-3 y = 75 -62.53
-3 y = 12.47
y = -4.16 OR -25/6
