Question 50742: HEY!
I have this problem that I can not figure out!
"The coordinates of rectangle ABCD are A(0,2), B(4,8), C(7,6) and D(3,0). Show that the diagonals are equal in length." I tried to solve this by drawing it out on graph paper but I do not know how to show that the diagonals are equal in length.
Thank you if you can help,
Student in need

Answer by Nate(3500)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you draw this out, you get:
A----B
| ....... |
C----D
Use the distance formula to determine the lengths of the diagonals, and that is how you would prove it!
