Question 499576: How do you write the equation 3x-2y=6 in slope intercept form? I am not sure how
Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"slope-intercept" form looks like:
y = mx+b
where
m is the slope
b is the y-intercept at (0,b)
.
3x-2y=6
-2y=-3x+6
2y=3x-6
y=(3/2)x-3 (this is what they're looking for)
