Question 48769: I need to solve an equation that has multiple sets. 2x+y-z=3
and -x+2y+7=3 and -4x+3y+2z=-1 Does anyone have an idea on how to go about this? please help me if you do. My home work assignment just says to solve. I do not need to graph it. So Do I just solve each one individually?
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i do not understand what you mean by "solve an equation that has multiple sets" since you show no sets and yet you quote 3 equations rather than one, as "an equation" implies.
Please clarify what you mean. Also state your level of maths knowledge, as solving 3 equations in 3 unknowns (x,y,z here) is rather time consuming and there are specific methods utilising matrices.
