The y-intercept is the point where the graph crosses the y-axis. At that point, x = 0

2x + 3y =15
Sub 0 for x and find y
3y = 15
y = 5
--> the point (0,5)
----------------------
For the x-intercept, do the same with y=0
Plot the 2 points, draw a line thru them.
