Question 470076: How do I graph x+2y=-6, since it isn't in y=mx+b form?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for y:
x+2y=-6
2y=-x-6
y = -1/2x-6/2
y = -1/2x-3
Equation is now in the form y = mx+b where m=-1/2 and b=-3
