vertex(-b/2a,f(x))

x-intercept:
0 = 2x^2 + x - 1
1 = 2x^2 + x
1/2 = x^2 + (1/2)x
8/16 + 1/16 = (x + (1/4))^2
+- sqrt(9/16) = x + 1/4
-1/4 +- 3/4 = x
