Use Pythagoras' Theorem d%5E2=x%5E2%2By%5E2 for right-triangles, where d is the distance between the two points, x is the distance along the x-axis and y is the distance along the y-axis.
The change in x is equal to 6%2Asqrt%285%29-4%2Asqrt%285%29 which is 2%2Asqrt%285%29.
The change in y is equal to 7-1%29 which is 1
Now use Pythagoras:
d%5E2=%282%2Asqrt%285%29%29%5E2%2B1%5E2
d%5E2=%284%2A5%29%2B1
d%5E2=21
d=sqrt%2821%29
