Hi,
Using the point-slope formula,
(4,3)
(0,-5) m = 8/4 = 2
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = 2x + b
3 = 2*4 + b
-5 = b
y = 2x -5
