Question 448435: Graph the following equation x + 4y = 8
Answer by blwinbbbles(106) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Just pick a X and then solve for Y..
So X =0
Then 0 + 4y = 8
4y = 8 divide both sides by 4
y = 2
Your first cordinates are (0,2)
Then choose y = 0
So x + 4(0) = 8
x + 8
Your second codinates are (8,0)
now place those on your graph and draw a line through them.
You have now graphed the equation
