Graph the equations of the system
y = x^2 - 6x + 9 OR y = (x-3)^2
Using the vertex form of a parabola, where(3,0) is the vertex
y = -x + 3
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m = -1 is the slope and 3 the y-intercept. Pt(0,3) on the this line
Graph. Points of Intersection, the ordered pairs that are solutions for this system:
Pt(0,3) and (2,1)
