y= 5/2x + 1
Please tell me the exact coordinates where the two lines intersect
5/2 is the rise over run equation. Rise is 5 and run is 2 but i can't seem to get the above two equations to intersect

Solve this linear equation by graphing

y= x - 2          Pts (0,-2) and (2,0) on this line (Green)

y= 5/2x + 1       Pts (0,1) and (-2/5,0) on this line (Blue)

Line intersect at Pt(-2,-4)

Checking algebraically:  x-2 = 2.5x+1   1.5x = -3  x = -2  and y = -2-2 = -4
