Hi
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
Finding the equation of the line that contains the point (-2,4) and has slope -3/4
y = (-3/4)x + b |Using order pair Pt(-2,4) to solve for b
4 = 3/2 + b
5/2 = b (-3/4)x + 5/2
