Hi
graphing the equation:
y = -1/4x - 3
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where (-1/4) is the slope and -3 the y-intercept.
Pt(0,-3) the y-intercept
slope is(-1/4): as y increases/decreases by 1, x increases/decreases by 4 in opposite direction
that is: (0,-3) AND (4,-4) (-4,-2) on the line.
