This is already in the slope intercept form which is what you want for graphing.
Choose at least two values for x, and find y, plot those two points and join
with a straight line, plotting 3rd point will confirm the graph

-2|-4: (y = -2 - 2)
0 |-2: (y = 0 - 2)
+4|+2: (y = 4 - 2)
