ok my question is to graph numbers on a number line... i dont know what a number line is or how to graph it.

Draw a horizontal line.
Pick any point you want to and call it x=0.

Pick some small distance to the right and call it x = 1
Pick the same distance to the left of zero and call it x = -1
----
Continue this same procedure to the right and to the left
of zero labeling points +2,+3.. and -2,-3.
