A line that passes through the point (-1,3) has a slope of 2. Find another point on the line.
slope = (change in y)/(change in x)= 2/1
This means "as x increases by 1, y increases by 2"
So, if you start at the point (-1,3),
let x increase by 1 to get 0, then y will
increase by 2 to get 5.
Thus, another point is (0,5).
