The formula of the slope of a line passes through two points A and B:
m= Xb-Xa/Yb-Ya
Let A the point with A (1, 3) and B the point B(5, 4). Replace the coordinates of A and B in the formula:
m = 5-1/4-3----> 4/1--->4
The answer : the slope of the line is 4
