Hi,
note: the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = -3x-5 Slope m = -3 and y-intercept is Pt(0,-5)blue line
y = -x+1 Slope m = -1 and y-intercept is Pt(0,1) green line
Note: m < 0 for both lines, both slant to the left with blue slanting more sharply
