Question 38530: How do you solve for the boundary points of equations y=x^2+2x+1 and y=4?
Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
boundary points? you mean find the solution?

If so... then we need to physically know where the 2 equations cross ie where are they EQUAL... so ask them...

where is ?

(x+3)(x-1) = 0
so x+3=0 or x-1=0
so x=-3 or x=1 are the 2 answers/solutions/roots.
