Question 383868: Explain how to graph: 4x + y>= 4
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x + y>= 4
write in the form y = mx+b
y>-4x+4
..
for the boundary y = -4x+4
when x=0 y=4
when y = 0 x=1
so the intercepts are
(0,4) & (1,0)
...
Draw the graph plotting the x & y intercepts
..
All points above the line are solutions to this inequality
THE BOUNDARY

...
The inequality
y>-4x+4
