Hi
Using the point-slope formula,
(-10,-12) and (-17,-19)
m = -19-(-12) / -17-(-10) = -7/-7 = 1
m = 1
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept
equatin of this line
y = 1*x + b using ordered pair(-10,-12) to solve for b
-12 = -10 + b
-2 = b
y = x -2 is the equation of the line
