Hi,
Using general slope-intercept form for an euation of a line
y = mx + b
line 2x + y = 9 y = -2x + 9 Slope is (-2/1)
Slope of the line perpendicular to it will be: 1/2
y = x/2 + b using Pt(6,9) to solve for b
9 = (1/2)*6 + b
6 = b
y = x/2 + 10
