Question 369406: Can someone explain how you would find either the x-intercept or the y-intercept of the line
y=x-3?

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=x-3
...
For finding Y intercept plug x= 0
y=0-3
y = -3
the co-ordinates of this intercept (0,-3)
..
For finding the X intercept plug y =0
0=x-3
x=3
the co-ordinates of the intercept (3,0)
you can verify by plotting the coordinates.
yopu will find the graph as below
