Question 365269: Here is my question. Solve and graph.
6-2x >= 12 and 4x - 5 > 15
So I figured the problem to be for the first equation x <=-3 and for the second
equation x > 5. It is a multiple choice question and gives 4 answers, none of
which I thought it would be:
x/x <=3
x/-3<=x<5
x/x>5
O (with a line thru it)
I am a little lost here, I would think maybe x/-3<=x<5, but isn't it x>5?
I thank you in advance for your help

the null set (O with a line thru it) is the solution because there is no value of x that is both ≤-3 AND >5
