This is the graph:
Now about how to GET the graph, when the problem is written in standard form like this one is, it's easiest to get the two intercepts.
Given
If x =0, then -4y =-12, so y = 3.
If y=0, then 3x = -12, so x = -4.
Plot these two points and connect the dots. That's all there is to it.
