Slope is change in over change in .
Starting at (,) if I move unit in , I move units in .
(,)+(,)=(,)=(,)
Another point on the line is (,).
Plot those two points and connect them with the line.

Hi,
Using the standard slope intercept form
y = 2x + b
solving for b by using Pt(3,-1)
-1 = 6 + b
-7 = b
y = 2x -7 would be the equation for this line
Knowing Pt(3,-1)& the slope of (2/1) tells us Pt(4,1) and Pt (2,-3)
are on the line for ex
