Question 356808: My problem would be i have to graph: 4x+y ≤ 6.
I found the x and y intercepts, (0,6) (3/2,0) but then as i try to verify my answer using slope intercept form
4x+y=6
4x+y-4x=6-4x
y=-4x/1+6 when i plot it this way my line is no longer strait. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated thxs.

<--- That's the equation of a straight line.
.
.
.
Now graph the line, you could also use your intercepts.

Choose a point not on the line.
(,) is always a convenient choice.
Test the inequality.

If the inequality is satisfied, shade the region that contains (,).
Otherwise shade the other region.
