Question 347824: y=2x-5 i know this is slope intercept form but how do i solve it.i tryed doing this x,y
0
0 but when i got to y is 0 i got stuck.can u solve and put it in standered form and then back to slope.so i know how to take it from standerd, to slope and from slope, to standered so i can get a better understanding of it.

Answer by josmiceli(19441)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need a clearer idea of what "solve" means
There is no way to solve 1 equation with 2
unknowns.
The number of unknowns has to equal the
number of equations in order to solve.
I can plot this line, but you need some
other line, and their intersection is the solution
