Question 332885: what is the answer to (-1,2),(1,-2) this problem on graphing equations in slope-intercept form
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-1,2),(1,-2)
Y=mX+b is the line equation where m=slope & b=the Y intercept.
m=(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)=(-2-2)/(1+1)=-4/2=-2 ans. for the slope.
2=-2*-1+b
2=2+b
b=2-2
b=0 Y=-2x ans. for the line equation.
