You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-0.5%280.3x-0.6%29=-1.5 Start with the given equation.

-0.5%280.3x%29-0.5%28-0.6%29=-1.5 Distribute

-0.15x%2B0.3=-1.5 Multiply

-0.15x=-1.5-0.3 Subtract 0.3 from both sides.

-0.15x=-1.8 Combine like terms.

x=%28-1.8%29%2F%28-0.15%29 Divide both sides by -0.15 .

x=12 Divide

So the solution is x=12

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-0.5(0.3x-0.6) = -1.5
-----
I don't like decimal, so let's multiply both sides by 10 to get:
---
-5(0.3x-0.6) = -15
---
Divide both sides by -5 to get:
0.3x-0.6 = 3
---
Multiply thru by 10 to get:
3x - 6 = 30
3x = 36
x = 12
