Question 321231: i have a pattern of triangles and each side is one unit, therefore one triangle would be 3 units and it goes all the way to four triangles which makes it twelve units.
On the question it says "What is the perimeter of the nth figure in this pattern?"
and i have no idea how i'm suppose to find that? can you help?

---------------
You should build a pattern of ordered pairs (t,p)
where t is the number of triangles and p is the perimeter.
Start with t = 1, then t = 2, etc.
Try to detect a pattern in the relation of p to t.
---
Then let t = n and find the corresponding P(n).
