Question 32068: Write the equation in slope intercept form.
3. (42) y + 2 = 6(x-1)

answere:
42y + 2 = 6(x-1)
for y intercept:
y = 6/42(x-1) - 2/42
y = 1/7(x-1) - 1/21
y = 1/7x - 1/7 - 1/21
y = 1/7x - 3/21
for x intercept:
6(x-1) = 42y + 2
6x -6 = 42y + 2
6x = 42y + 2 + 6

6x = 42y + 8
x = 7y + 4/3
