Question 319901: Hi! How do I do the substitution method? I am so confused. So, what is the solution on these two equations, y=5x-4y and x+y=12?
Answer by rfer(16322)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=5x-4y = 5y=5x = y=x
x+y=12
x+x=12
2x=12
x=6
----------------
y=5*6-4y
5y=30
y=6
